1 dead after double shooting in Aurora DENVER (KDVR) — One person is dead, and another was hospitalized after an overnight shooting in Aurora.The shooting happened at the Foxdale Condos on East Alameda Parkway. Police were called to the complex at around 11:15 p.m. Wednesday.According to Aurora police, one person was found dead inside a condo, and another was found with a gunshot wound and taken to a local hospital. Police investigate deadly double stabbing in Aurora Officers with the Aurora Police Department remained on scene overnight and throughout Thursday morning. FOX31's Jim Hooley was at the condos where crime scene investigators could be seen going in and out of one of the units on the north side of the complex.At this time, there is no word on what led up to the shooting and no word on the condition of the person who survived.Police said the investigation is still in the preliminary stages. Police investigate deadly double stabbing in Aurora DENVER (KDVR) — Aurora police are investigating a deadly double stabbing in the Del Mar Parkway neighborhood that took place on Monday.According to the Aurora Police Department, officers were patrolling the 11200 block of East Colfax Avenue at 8 p.m. on Oct. 16 when a passerby alerted them to a man lying in the street. The officers went to the intersection of Colfax and Lima Street.At the intersection, police found a man suffering from multiple stab wounds. He was rushed to a local hospital where he later died from his injuries. The man was identified as 44-year-old Desmond Thomas.While responding to Thomas, officers were notified of a second stabbing victim just a block away in the 11300 block of East Colfax Avenue. On May 29, David Hernandez, 22, and Justin Hernandez, 19, were arrested after attempting to sell 10,000 Fentanyl pills valued at $440,000 in Miami, MDPD said in a news release.According to investigators, the two suspects had negotiated a deal for 10,000 fentanyl pills with an estimated street value of $440,000. The suspects had allegedly driven from California to Miami to complete the transaction.
